VICTOR JOSEPH OLUWAFEMI, known professionally as "VeeJay" is a pro singer-songwriter, and performing artiste. VeeJay is an African, and lastborn of two. VeeJay, a graduate of Music from Babcock University, Nigeria began recording his music professionally in 2012, when he joined a music group; The factory pack in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. In 2014, the group released its debut album; listed as one of the Top 10 albums of 2014 released on the online music platform "Spinlet". He won the coke studio Samsung Galaxy Prize for best cover rendition of "I wish" by Waje. VeeJay then proceeeded to study Music at Babcock University where he bagged the Deans' Award and Academic Program Award in Music in mid 2017. VeeJay's (Golden Voice) sound is AfroPop and R&B, his lyrics are thougthful, meaningful and relatable, and his vocal delivery is sultry laced with soothing harmonies; drawing inspiration from the world around him and influenced by icons from diverse genres of music from different parts of the world including Chris Brown, 2Baba (2face), James Fauntleroy, Fela Kuti, and MasterKraft. He is also an instrumentalist and record producer.
